This is where it all started back in the 70’s using records and tapes. Over the years we have continually updated the equipment to the present digital age with all the music now on MP3. Since that time we have covered just about every event you can think of. So you can rest assured that we have the experience to cater for your event.
Coloursounds Entertainment were possibly one of the first to incorporate karaoke into the shows using backing tracks on cassettes and song sheets. Now we use the latest in computer technology and offer a choice in excess of 20,000 songs for you to choose from and sing along to on the screen.
Coloursounds Entertainment can supply you with everything you need to run a successful quiz night including sound equipment, microphones, questions, answer sheets, joker cards and bits and pieces music rounds.
Back in the year 2000, Coloursounds Entertainment was asked to provide sound and lighting for an amateur production in a community centre. This we did with great success and now we are still working with the same company along with several others in the same field operating various sound and lighting desks in amateur theatres.
Our own sound system is capable of supplying up to 3,500 watts of undistorted power and is available to hire for your larger functions.

PREPARATIONWe like to arrive at least 2 hours before we are required to play, to set up all the equipment causing the minimum of disturbance as possible to you and your guests. By prior arrangement we can set up earlier if required.
WEDDING RECEPTIONUpon arrival of the bride and groom from the ceremony we can arrange background music while they meet their guests.
FAVOURITE SONGBefore the big day, we like to talk to the bride and groom to find out their favourite song, then after the wedding banquet we ask them to start the reception by having the first dance.
EXTRA’sIf a large hall has been hired, we can provide microphones for the speeches.
